Baseplate: O'Connor vs Berkey?

I'm leaning towards the O'Connor baseplate. I like the multiple methods of tightening the camera screws. Also like how it appears the vertical rods can be easily swapped with any length I care to cut myself.

The Berkey is really nice as well, but the vertical rods appear to be hexed screwed, which means alternate rods would have to come from them (not DIY). Also, the camera screws are finger tighten only.

I have the new oconnor baseplate and it's by far the best plate I have ever used. Changing the vertical rods was easy on the occonor as well. We swapped out the 2.65" steel ones for short 2" redrock micro carbon fiber rods to make the base shorter and lighter. I'm using is over my Zacuto base and it easily holds the weight of the AF-100 with rods, mattebox etc...

I have the Berkey baseplate with the quad blocks, and I'm extremely happy with it. It's very modular, lightweight, and it is a great price.
