Basement Lighting

I have a music video planned and we are storyboarding for a lot of the footage to be shot in a basement and we want a dark look but the subjects face and body fairly well light. Does anyone have any lighting suggestions (how many lights and at what wattage, positions)? Camera settings?

You probably want to keep your talent as far away from the walls as possible, that way when you just light the talent the light will fall off before it hits the walls. Additionally you might want to use some practicals for texture the same way that youtube video does. Notice the lights in the back ground at the beginning of that video and how they are positioned to draw your eyes to the center of the frame
