Baselplate Sony FS 700

Hi there,

I'm looking for a great baseplate/dovetail for my FS 700 (which might also work for other cameras), which
is not too expensive (the very nice Movecam Rig is too expensive!).

I have an element technica f3 riser I retrofitted on the fs700. Works great, you might find one reasonably priced. With a good evf and arm extensions the baseplate works great

I second your question for a FS700 / universal base plate. I used the MovCam cage for a while but my set up with the complete cage is getting too heavy. I only use the base plate and I would like to sell the cage and get a versatile baseplate instead. -> (FS700 movcam cage in excellent condition for sale..)

The plates shown in the link with the corresponding dove tail and snap plate work very well for us.

Cheap kit...so we keep them fixed to heads, sliders and various mounting rigs ..and just slip the camera with slide plate onto anyone in moments.

eg. one is permanently on the rods plate
