Base Tenders Teaser Trailer (Currently in Production)

[VeryNewMediaGuy]

Hey everybody -- wanted to share a very very early trailer for a documentary I'm currently shooting in and around NYC -- very cool subject -- Vintage Baseball.

Trailer could be tighter, I know, but I'm pretty pleased for one day of shooting and an afternoon cutting this together.

For the gear heads out there, we shot this with two DVX100Bs, and cut it in native 24P. As one should.

Happy to hear your thoughts -- and VERY happy to entertain any volunteers for crew. This is entirely an entirely self-funded side project, and I aim to keep it that way.

This looks great! I really wanted to see more. Your shots look very clean and well cut. Are you using a 35mm adapter? Do you plan to insert old photos?

Nice job!

Thanks -- no on the 35 adapter, although I'm considering that for some of our choreographed shots. 1st camera had a 4x4 matte box, french flag and a polarizing filter; 2nd camera was clean of extra gear.

Pretty sloppy color correction on my part in this trailer, but then again, it was more of a test for me to see if this project was going to work. And... I think it will!!

Yes, I do plan on (and dread) a lot of archival work and a lot of haggling for rights to some older photos. But the story is really about these guys who play NOW, and why the game they play is different, better, worse, etc.

Many thanks!
