F55: Base-plate mount

Can someone tell me if the Element Tech. baseplate for the F3 will fit on the F55? I have the baseplate for the F3 with a micron system (took the standard riser off) that I use on the F3. I am renting a F55 soon and need to know if the base-plate will work, since the rental company does not have a shoulder mount system for the F55 yet.

Just shoot ET an email and ask. Vivian there is very helpful. From memory I seem to recall seeing on mounted on a pre-production F55. But I imagine you'd need the F55 shim plate (rather than the F3 one) in order to connect it to the camera and have correct rod height.

It will connect, but the rod height will be about 3-4mm off if you have a follow focus (unlikely) or matte box (much more likely) that relies on the 85mm spacing to optical center.
