This is my first thread in this forum so I wanted to say Hi to everyone and thank you for sharing your wisdom and experience. It is much appreciated.
I just received my FS100 as an upgrade from a long relationship with the 5D. So now that I am upgrading to more professional gear (I still love the look of the 5D but I am done with its frustrations). I am looking to upgrade my support gear as well.
I am starting to shoot more and more with the RED Epic and Scarlet as well as the FS100 and want to find a shoulder rig and tripod rig that will work for both. Basically something that I can take the camera off of a shoulder rig, rails and all, and click it into place securely onto a Sachtler tripod.
What type of base and professional quick release plate would allow me to securely and quickly do this.
Any recommendations on sub $1750 shoulder rigs that would work for the FS100 and RED Epic or Scarlet?
