Got my copy today....can't wait to start going through it to get the real details on how this camera works. The manual that comes with the camera just doesn't cut it. A cd with scene files is included as well!

Just got it as well, thanks Jan and Barry. The 4 color printing is great with lots of screen shots and photos.

I just had a few minutes to flip through it and it seems very in depth. A fantastic supplement to the somewhat skimpy Pany manuals.

Glad you're liking it so far, and that they're getting delivered so quickly. I'm trying to turn 'em around within 24 hours of receiving the postcard.
 
I like the book a lot because Barry writes about the "why" and not just the "hows". He covers als a a lot of bases. the chapter on Scene File settings is great.
 
Got mine today. Very fast turn-around which was greatly appreciated since I was feeling more than a bit lost with this cam and the manual was definitely not helping much.

Really can't say enough about how well-written and organized this book is and how much I appreciate the perfectly understandable way everything is explained in full detail in an intelligible, logical and step-by-step progressive way. You're an excellent teacher, Mr. Green and your experience in writing books like this really shines through here. Can't thank you enough for not only producing this, but then topping it off by making it available to us no charge. Simply a class act all the way around. Thanks! And, of course, thanks also to Jan.

I've only gotten a little ways through but have already learned a couple things I didnt know. Also, reading the book reminds me how much valuable info Barry share's on these boards for FREE! ..along with everyone else of course ;-)
