Barry Green's Sticky on Proper P2 Offloading for A Mac

If I follow Barry's instructions as seen here:

....and set P2CMS to export to a folder on my mac's desktop, do I just give that whole folder to the person I want to give the footage to? And, if so, what do they do with it in FCP?

Yes. or just grab the entire folder from the P2CMS storage file and drag it where you want. In FCP, log and transfer. That's it unless they need to transcode for some reason.

There was nothing in Barry's thread about a P2CMS storage file nor FCP, I don't think.

I don't know what the P2CMS storage file is so that's not an option.

I can upload P2 cards to an FCP session but then don't know how to get from an open FCP session to handing files to the client so, again, not an option.

The question is, well, I asked it in my first post here. I think you're saying yes.
