just got my copy of the DVX book. I have to say i learned something that no one answered right away. it was the echo effect on the 100b. in the book, they showed me the exact location of the setting and how to change it from tape to live. a few weeks ago i asked and someone told me to buy a piece that would run like 300 bucks and i would alwasy have to carry around a phanny pack with the battery on me. so thanks Barry,


and my next question, unless i missed it in the reading is i thought there would be something to do wth how to make a 24p. dvd. the best settings in encore/premiere for export. did i miss it? ill read it again just in case. maybe in my excitement to read the things that interested me most i skiped some pages. thanks guys

No, the book doesn't cover post solutions and things like that. it's about the DVX itself. For questions like how to best employ a particular NLE, that's what the forum here is for; post your question in our Premiere forum and you should get a prompt answer.
