In NYC your allowed to run people over if your making a movie, its part of the Mayor's office film permit guidlines. you can also park on sidewalks and honk your horn (its illegal there to honk btw, and turn right on a red light). You can also rob banks and kidnap children, if your making a movie. When the police come, pull out your free filming permit, and they will hi-5 you and give you free donuts.

We only get a hi-5 from the cops here in Austin, no donuts!

And they say Austin is a great film town.

Wow, I really need to start shooting on the East Coast. Around here (LA) if they catch you shooting with a permit, the entire neighborhood watch is notified and everyone bans together to bang pots and pans as loud as possible, run their sprinklers all over your production vehicles, block the streets with skateboarding kids and generally make your day as unproductive as possible. Now, if they catch you shooting without a film permit, then things can get really nasty. Then everyone wonders why we loose so many productions to other parts of the world?

I was going to -- I was even going to go the whole "gangsta rap" thing, and had Oppressor work up some lyrics for it. But there's just no way I could get it done, there's too much else going on. So last night I slapped this silly thing together...
