Barry, can you confirm HDMI and Composite RCA out at the same time?

I don't have my field monitor near by. In your HMC150 book Barry, you state that you can have the HDMI output plugged into a monitor and the composite RCA jack will still function if the HDMI is set to "fixed", correct?

I need to confirm this before I buy an HDMI to VGA transcoder for my cheap 7" VGA monitor. I have an component to VGA but it cuts off the RCA out and I need that for this hockey broadcast we do (SD broadcast). I really would like to be able to look at my field monitor in HD so I can find the puck easier. :)

You can't set the HMI to a specific resolution though and have the RCA working though, correct?

I have a VGA 7" monitor that does a max res of 1440x810 and was thinking of usiung a HDMI to VGA transcoder. The transcoder outputs the same VGA resolution as the HDMI input so if I am shooting 1080 then the monitor would be receiving 1920x1080, which is beyond it's range.
