Howdy DVX Users, this is my first "real" (non-intro) post-- I've got a short-form doc that I finished up recently that may be of interest to folks here (especially anyone frequenting the Canon forum, as this one was shot on a C100, mark 1, no DAF), made about a San Antonio resident with a very interesting collection:

Happy to answer any questions (technical, logistical, creative, whatever) and highly encourage anyone to give feedback, as I'm always looking for ways to improve my skillset and make better content.

Thanks, and I hope you get something out of it!
John

Solid! Much like the number two.

I think you nailed it on several fronts: clean shoot, tight edit, great sound mix. You also don't try to make it too sweet or profound or funny; you just drop it in the bowl and let it marinate.

Okay time for lunch.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you felt it was solid; the audio mix was a big sticking point for me on this one, so I'm glad to hear it didn't stick out too much--I picked up an old fixed-frequency RF transmitter last minute, and for the most part it worked really well; Barney was moving his arms a ton and every now and then the audio channel had some pretty buggy interference. Got lucky that there was enough useable stuff here (despite only being a one day thing, it was a hugely insane shooting ratio on this one...) Anyway, Thanks so much for watching and letting me know what you thought!
