Hello everyone. This is my first post here. I found the site looking for information on the lamp that I have. I was told by an antiques dealer that it is from the 1930s. I'm considering selling it and have been offered $350. I would like to find out some details about it and if that is a reasonable offer. It works, the on/off switch works, and the lever in the front that moves the light closer or farther away works. If it would help, I can take additional pictures of any area.

If someone will give you $350 for that, take it and run! (Not that it's a terrible light, but there are lighter units out there these days - that probably use a newer style globe as well).

Thanks for the advice Michael. I don't use it for lighting purposes. It was purchased simply as novelty to be a room lamp. Impulse purchase. The one who offered to purchase it is an antique trading company. I think it is past it's prime for practical use.
