thats pretty cool. How did you move along side the skateboaders so well with the camera?


I'm going to Spain in June and I am debating whethere or not to take the DVX. Did you encounter any problems overseas?
 
the only problem i saw was never leave your camera bag down and if you do it you have someone you trust right next to you. alot of thieves out there stealing peoples cameras. ive heard horror stories. i just protected my bag like its my life. which could easily be true.

Hey dude, great work, im a big fan of skate videos, this has got a nice laid back feel to it, definately reflects the place in the colours and feel (i recognise some of the places from my own travels to Barcelona) Really nice camera work and some good skating! Love the intercutting footage aswell with the wires down the tunnels and stuff (from a train?) Nice. Have you seen "Yeah Right!?". Keep up the good work amigo!
 
damn, this makes me miss skateboarding and filming it sooo much. I used to have a vx2100 and century optics fisheye and would film all kinds of stuff. Nice work man, what fisheye were you using?
 
how much did that trip cost total (airfare,lodging, etc). my friend is going there this summer and i've always wanted to go on a skating trip there

the plane ticket was 781, and over the 10 days with a hostel and buying food everyday, beers, and misc junk. i spent around 500 bucks. but you could easily spend less if you tried.

i have a century fisheye, the vig is nasty on the computer but on a tv u cant see it
 
Thats some VERY nice footage. While ever so slight, I was happy to see some soccer skillage too.
 
I like the multiple skateboards shot. That was cool. Video was very sharp and crisp. Dont videos like that just wanna make everyone travel somewhere other than HERE?
 
Great stuff man. I'm gonna be using my DVX for some skate stuff sometime soon. my friends and I used to film all the time with some shitty old 1 chip camera, so this should be quite a step up. Great shots, and great skating. Sigh, too bad none of the stuff I'll be skating/filming with be Barcelona. Wanted to go there for some time now...
