Banding Noise

Banding noise, circular patterns in the shade and on equal lowlight colorful surfaces.

I just came across this from a earlier post by someone discussing low light. Just wanted to know of peoples experiences with this HVX problem. I am more experienced with my camera, but every once in a while i encounter the problem mentioned above. What are you guys experience with compression artifacts?
 
Without seeing a sample clip or still it's impossible to give solid feedback or advice. If you can supply either then myself or other experienced HVX shooters can easily chime in with answers.
