Ballpark Figure on Repairs?

[Ian A Swanson]

Hey All,

I'm looking into purchasing a used HVX... but the seller has stated that the 2nd audio jack needs repair. Additionally, the headphone jack and the firewire port are loose. Does anyone have a vague ballpark notion of how much these repairs might cost me?

Thanks

That's a heck of a lot to deal with. What was this camera used for? Personally I'd look elsewhere for a used camera.

He didn't say headphone jack, he said audio jack. I assume that's Left / Right or White / Red.

I would estimate that you are looking at least at $400.00 to $1,000.00. Look for a camera elsewhere unless you are getting this for about $2.200.00.
