bag or case of choice

[Lake Films]

Hey. Just purchased the GH1 and I want to protect it the best I can, lol. Any recommendations on camera bags/cases. I'm partial to Pelican myself, having one for my DVX. But, I have no idea which model would suit the GH1 with room to spare for lens', batteries, etc... Thanks.

Ogio Atiba Mini. Great bag. I have one and it works great; friend has one as well as the larger version for his HVX and we both cannot say enough great things about it. Practical, comfortable, well built, lifetime warranty against workmanship flaws, discreet, and as low as $60 if you know where to look. Holds a huge amount of stuff for a bag its size too.

Check out Crumpler and Tenba's "Shootout Series" as well.

I like Crumpler's 7 Million Dollar Home for the 7D/GH1-sized cameras, since they don't scream "hey, check me out, I've got a camera inside!"

I fit my entire kit into one of these;

Camera, 5 Canon FDs, follow focus rod rig, filters, Gorilla Pod, spare batteries, charger & cords plus a couple of LED lights and I still got some room to spare for a matte box once I get one.

can often find them new on ebay for about $150 less than MSRP.

Its very comfortable, looks professional in black, and works well while mountain biking, so should be good for just about any other activity.

tons of room for camera gear and lots of other stuff
