Does anyone use a back pack that will fit their HVX, Letus Extreme, Lens, Laptop, Batteries and P2 Cards? Or do you just take two separate cases or bags?
 
depends on a couple things. how many lenses? are you traveling with the kit set up or will you break it down? are you considering follow focus and mattebox.
 
Lets say two lenses and a follow focus, no matte box. I think it may be best to break the kit down, but on the other hand having it already set up may increase the real estate inside the backpack. What do you think?
 
if you wanted all of that in a backpack it may fit in the kata bp207. but i'd go larger and go with the kata bp502. better to have too much than not enough.

I went ahead and bought the bp207 since I was told that bp502 will be too big to be considered a "carry-on" in the airplane. I haven't got a chance to really use it, but so far so good.
 
I would like to see a pic of how you have your gear configured in the bag. as i find the bag to shallow to have my 150 sitting upright in the bag and it barely fits a DVX with out pressure from the lid pressing down on the eyepeice and built in mic.. Do you guys put the camera on its side?
