Backpack recommendations for video camera?

I'm looking for a backpack to carry my Sony HDR-FX1 in and am looking for a few recommendations.
I'm heading to Japan for a few weeks over the Christmas/new year period and want to take the camera, and lugging a roll case through the place will prove a little cumbersome.

I need to carry the camera, charger and basic accessories (with a big stack of tapes). Nothing fancy beyond an audio recorder and maybe a shotgun mic. A monopod *may* be added to the list, but no tripod.

So, any suggestions where I can start looking?

I had a Porta Brace BK-N1 with my DVX. It was sturdy, cofortable, and held quite a bit of gear with the camera. It fits in overhead compartments on larger planes, but not on the little jets like CanadAir Regional or the like.

Others have spoken highly of the Ty Ogio 2 backpack.
