Backpack for carrying DVX

no idea..they dont even give u an inside look at the thing. I have a kata 205. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/422742-REG/Kata_KT_HB_205_HB_205_GDC_Hiker_Backpack.html Works pretty well for my DVX and accessories. it maybe out of ur price range though...but i know there are more that are way cheaper and very good. Do a search on this site and u'll find many topics on it.

edit: inside look http://www.cameta.com/index.cfm/fa:...d:13080?utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=base

seems to be able to hold ur dvx and stuff. most of the reviews on B and h and elsewhere are very good. Its only 50 bucks so u dont have much to lose. However it doesnt seem very padded inside or reenforced on the outside . so u may have to consider that or reenforced on the outside. my Kata205 is both...i can roll that down the stairs and be good (even though i wudnt).

I have a HMC-150, very similar in shape, I use a lowepro compu trekker aw plus, it's a little expensive ($140) but it's great.

If you can find it, the Ogio Skate Ty Video Backpack is great for dvx's. A friend of mine uses it to carry his VX1000 and DVX100 together and they both sit in there perfect.

It goes for around $150 before shipping.

I have 2 DaKine Sequence bags. One for my HVX and one for my Nikon. Awesome bags! There is also the Reload bag which is bigger. DaKine FTW!

I use the Lowe Pro CompuTrekker, its great for shoots when you need a laptop, loads of room in it as well

Jerrymac,

I use Mountainsmith Borealis AT which fits my DVX100B, mic, batteries, laptop and extras. Check it out.

Cheers,

John

I can vouch for the Ogio Ty 2 Video bag, its got a really nice, roomy interior, and easily holds multiple cameras. (DVX's are perfect fits)

And with a price tag of around $150 its a good value.

Two of my favourite features are the mic support pads, and the elastic straps to keep your camera still.
