backing up Media Files

Just wondering, if I've already backed up my Avid Media Files and OMF Files, and I haven't captured any new footage, then do I really need to keep backing it up every night? I mean, as long as I back up my project file, then aren't I just fine if everything were to crash, because I have the original back up of the Media and OMF Files. I know I'd lose renders and stuff. But I'm assuming all I really, truly need is the bin and sequence information stored in the Avid Project File. Hm...
 
correct = the only new mediafiles being created would be renders, which can be recreated by rendering again. Backup project and bins as you say.
