hi there just wondering if any one knows a site or where abouts on background music and fx. is there a site you can get it from. thanks
 
check out your local library. The one near my house has tons of cd's of sound effects. Most of them are crap but sometimes you can find just the right thing.
 
Highly recommend productiontrax.com. They have tons of music material, and have a two-tiered pricing structure for projects that will or will not be distributed. If you're not doing distribution, you can find some real gems for under $10.
