Background for Industrial Usage

Heartfelt

Hey guys,
In my corporate setting, I need to photograph equipment and video people. The equipment will focus on two specific classes. One is handheld type stuff. The other is industrial gas cylinders and a piece, here or there, of something unusual.

I have a hankering for white backgrounds towards an infinity feel. For the small stuff, I am considering this:

For the large stuff: cylinders, large equipment, people, I am considering paper or vinyl with use of a stand and cross bar or using this:

Here are my concerns:
1. Will I have to contend with wrinkles
2. Will I be able to set these industrial cylinders on the media without destroying it (wt = 50lbs - 100+lbs)
3. Can I be portable in order to film at multiple stores of ours

Can anyone share relevent experience or ideas?
Thanks so much!

You will be good with the small set cyc and it has a light.I would be concerned with getting the larger drop dirty(although it states it is washable.)Wrinkles will be a problem although you can use gaffers tape on the edges to pull taught.
Seamless is always an option.Gets dirty or wrinkled just tear off the end.Something I used to do with hot white backgrounds was to lay a piece of white plex 4x8 sideways on the paper (or a smaller piece for the small stuff on a table) When you direct two lights on each side of the background and overexpose the bg the line disappears and leaves a shiny white glossy surface which is great for product.Seamless is available in 4 ft.and 9ft.I have even used 12ft. for large objects.Bought 4ft. last week for $27bucks.I will probably use it for the next two years.
I guess my hesitation on the small cyc would be when you have those two pieces that you need to shoot that are too big! Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. Since then, I have had time to think and am now looking at this:

For the small stuff, I will simply use these lights and some paper, jury-rigged.

After some research, I see that CS is a budget line with some issues but for getting the ball rolling, it seems to fit the bill. Once this department gets truly on top of our game, I could see making a Recc' for some decent gear.

It seems on the lighting that the choice at my budget point is to use one quality light with a reflector or use a budget product. After a lot of thought, I chose the latter.

I am very open to suggests for alternates.
