Back Road... New short films being shot on HVX

Hey girls and guys,

Well the time is here and I thought id drop you a line on what I'm currently working on.


Back Road is a 15 to 20 min short film based on the abduction of a child on a lonely stretch of road in outback AUSTRALIA.

This is the first ever live action short film I will be Directing and all will be shot on the HVX202en camera.

I will be hosting video blogs and updates on my website www.freudenbergfilms.com in the SHORT FILMS section.

All cast and crew are ready to go and shooting will commence in late Jan 2008.

So what's so different about this short film?

Most of the footage will be shot on green screen.
The short will be shot in day light and turned from day to night.
Scale models will be used for the diner sequence ( yep a whole diner will be made as a scaled model )
and a CGI creature will be in the end sequence of the short.

Heres a taste of the look of the film where working for. This was shot on a Fz20 still camera.

My website will host everything from the script, pre production, production, post production, scoring the short film and finally any short film contests the short is featured in and hopefully any awards won.
