back focus

Will back focusing work on the dvx (not sure if its the correct term).

Basically to help focusing can i zoom all the way in on someones nose - focus and then zoom out to the correct composition and assume the focus is correct?

yes. also im not really aware of lenses (in general) where this is not true..

Yes. Back focus is factory set and should be correct unless camera or lens has been mechanically shocked or abused. Lens back focus is usually only user adjustable when the camera takes interchangeable lenses, and backfocus then needs to be adjusted to take account of mechanical tolerances.

The term " back focus " is not use in dvx100 , it is call " Zoom tracking " and
is only aviable to service depot . all the service depot are gooooood .
