B&w

I want to produce a music clip in B&W. Which is the best way to go either shooting in B&W or shooting in colour and using a B&W filter in post ? Which of the 6 standard scenefiles whould be best? Are there any other aspects I should take care of when shooting in B&W?

I say shoot in color and try to grab as much information as possible, then make it how you want in post. I did a clip in B&W and shot in color with lighting that would capture as much detail as possible. Then in post, i added Magic Bullet filters to make it look like it was shot in the early 1900 (I used D.W. Griffith's "Birth of a Nation" as a reference).
