B&W shooting w/dvx ?

Any suggestions on what settings i should shoot with to turn the image in black and white afterwards using final cut?
Can i use these settings as optional black and white so that i choose after the shoot if i should turn it into b%w?

i might do something like this
:

presets all at 0 except for

chroma level : -7
pedestal : 0 - + 5
cinelike gamma
normal, or cinelike matrix

this should give you the most flexibility in post to get as much or as little contrasts from white to black that you can get me thinks.

thank you papa, will try it out, does this setting also give a good color quality in case i want to keep color or will it bind me to b/w. I guess testing is key.

Also remember that shooting B&W is not the same as shooting color. You need to light properly, choose appropriate colors in your shot (understand which look darker/lighter in B&W; often red looks darker than actual black); if you're using makeup, it should be adjusted accordingly.
