Yes, go to MENU > DISPLAY SETTINGS > LCD SET and push COLOR all the way to the left. The LCD goes completely black and white so you can preview what your image will look like.

How in the heck did I not see that?

So, I just shot my first film in B&W Friday night. I followed all of my own advice from this thread and really liked the results.

Funny thing was, I monitored on the LCD in B&W, but of course it's being recorded in color. When I captured the footage... WOW! The film looked fantastic in color. It was almost sad to go back to B&W.
