hispanic workers had to use a separate bathroom from whom? how did they force people to use a separate bathroom? if female employees weren't given their own bathroom, which bathroom were they forced to use, the hispanic bathroom or the non-hispanic bathroom? how was it determined that thousands of people weren't hired specifically because of their race or gender?
Once I bought a brand new tripod from them and they sent me a used one with marking on it, I forgive them but they screwed me on a delivery of a camera when they promised me 2 days but took 5 days and now reading that article, seems like they have a history or discrimination, so screw them I will not buy anything from them again.
Once upon a time, they only hired other Jewish people because that was their value system, just like some places only hire other Christians.
Now back to the problem in the article... Could it be that all the warehouse workers were just plain filthy slobs and therefore they were prevented from using the lavatories that the polite people allowed to stay clean? I have a feeling that race was brought into this for no reason other than headlines, could this be possible?
If it is real discrimination, then bad on them, but I have a feeling there is a lot more to this than they have written in that article. Not trying to defend B&H, I have my own beefs with them, and most of that is how they handle things for purchases made through my work, but I doubt it will prevent me from ordering anything personal from them. All these giant businesses are sock cuckers, choose which one will mess with you the least and move on.
However we feel about B&H in general, or this story in particular, let us remember, the TOS: "no politics" - as soon as "big business", "race", "discrimination" comes up, that's a no-no. If we discuss B&H as far as customer service goes, that's relevant because we're customers, but how they run their internal stuff seems to me goes too quickly into politics... it'll just get the thread locked.
