B&H Customers

Yeah, its odd that the phrase Green Stamps would envoke that feeling, but it certainly does. Thanks for the reminder....
 
Why don't we all sign a petition and send to to B&H begging them to save trees and invest that money in there website alone.

This is the first time I've gotten one even though I've ordered from them for years. Maybe I finally crossed some magical threshold of dollars spent. But I still haven't bothered opening the box yet.
 
We got our double copies in my household. However I no longer do business with them. My spouse bought me a gift certificate from B and H. I telephoned B and H and asked how I could use it. They said I would have to buy what I wanted on my credit card (as I needed the item then and not later) then mail in the certificate and they would reimburse.

I made my purchase then mailed it in exactly as instructed and they claimed they never received it. So that's the end of my business with them.

All the advertising expenses (those huge catalogs) are passed on to the customer in the prices. I'd rather deal with Spec-Comm, Abel, Studio Exchange.
 
hhhaaa, yeah i thought i ordered something and totally spaced it. weighs a ton!
still waiting to hear when the HPX-170 is coming out!!! it is september.........
 
I've never had a problem with B&H. I got my dvx batteries from them and my HV20 (which I sold recently). Between them eBay and Central Camera here in Chicago, I'm set. I've found you can put together a small studio rather in expensively using eBay alone.

They sent three....one to me, one to my mom, and one to my dad....all at the same address. I guess I've ordered things from there with a few different credit cards over the years.

but damn....three of those things stacked together is pretty heavy. The mail lady had trouble with it coming up the sidewalk.
