B-camera option ?

Right now I currently using my A6000 w/16-50mm as my A-cam for interviews, etc. I'm looking for a secondary cam that compliments my A6000.
I could use another A6000, but I want a 4K so I can do cropping/reframing/etc. I prefer to stick with apsc sized sensor.

So far I'm thinking of the A6300, not convinced yet on holding out for the A6500. Any other options, you guys suggest.

The a6300 overheats pretty fast when shooting 4k. The a6500 has the new "don't shut down if it overheats" option. It's not a big deal for me, but if you're shooting interviews it may be the deciding factor.

I've been back and forth because of the overheating factor. Although there are some work-around tips I've seen on youtube, etc. Not sure it's a long lasting effect for longer shooting. And A6300 are going for around $700-900 second hand, not sure if I really want to spend $1,400 for the A6500.

If you don't mind changing systems, you might consider the panasonic g85.
4k compares closely with a6300, with maybe a slight bit more moire on the g85.
with 1080p the g85 is clearly better with more detail and less CA, and you get no
limits on clip length which can be nice for interviews.

for video comparison. For stills, the a6300 or a6500 is going to be much better.

I used to have a GH4 matter of fact, but sold that cause I wasn't happy with the DR, Colors, and low light performance.

I ended up getting the A6300, since IBIS and touchscreen is not a big deal for me.

Anyone here know how to turn off the camera leveling in live view while in movie mode?

Click disp (up on the wheel) to cycle through all the available options. I like the one with not-too-much information and histogram at the corner.
