GH5 B-Camera for GH5 with full sensor readout in 4k, no crop

Does panasonic make another mirrorless camera besides the gh5 that does a full readout in 4k with no crop. If not which panasonic camera produces the least crop and by how much? This is for a B camera and open to any sensor size.

The GH5 is the only one, every other model crops for 4K. The G85, GX85, and G7 have a bit less crop than the GH4, about 2.2x instead of 2.4x.

I would go for a GX85 or G85 as they have IBIS and their color science is a bit newer than the G7 or GH4 (so thus will match a bit closer to the GH5). The G85 handles more like the GH series (bigger DSLR-styled body/grip and has the flip-out screen), plus it has Cinelike D, and a mic jack. The GX85 is smaller, cheaper, has no audio in, and didn't have Cine-D but someone just found a hack/trick to add it through the Wifi app.

I really like the GX85 but wish it had less of a crop in 4k. I might have to look for a 7mm lens.

And fyi, not sure if this applies to the others, but if you use an external monitor with the gx85 while in 4k it crops in even more.

That's not good. I already bought the FZ2500 and it too crops in 4k. It seems the only cameras within my budget that do not crop in 4k is the Fuji X-T20 and sony A6500. I really like the Fuji but wish it didn't have the 10 minutes limit in 4k (probably to keep it from heating), unless I use an external recorder.

Why is the extra crop a concern? I mean in the real world what kind of impact does it actually have on what you are shooting? Does it really make or break your projects?

In short the answer is no, however I just purchased two panasonic cameras the UX90 and FZ2500 both with 1" sensors and both have a 4k crop, hence both also with integrated fixed lenses. Occasionally I find myself restricted because of the crop on 4k such as a real estate video. For the time being I am still shooting real estate videos in 1080p. I was thinking to rent the GH5 when the need arises as I don't own it or any 4/3 lenses and was looking for something under $1200 to own as I don't charge much for real estate videos to justify renting. I also own nikon and canon DSLR's with 1080p that I use wide lenses with but would like to have a low budget 4k that can provide a nice wide angle for those occasional needs.

if you need to extra wide on m43 you might want to consider a SpeedBooster since you likely already have Canon and Nikon lenses. A SpeedBooster more or less turns the GX85 or the GH5 into a APS-C camera with the same field of view. Getting. GH5 + Speedbooster is a larger investment but the SpeedBooster will work with the GX85 as well. May be a little bit tighter than the GH5 but will be much wider than your 1" fixed lens cameras.
