Here's some samples of an HVX200 / Brevis job I recently shot for an awards show. The footage was planned from the get go to be heavily posted in a Fincher inspired fashion.

I had a great time on the shoot with the guys at Radium (who did the post FX). This was definitely one of the fun (and interesting) jobs.

I finally found some time to grab a couple of stills as examples of the project. The actual clips tell a lot more of the story as they dropped in a ton of little details to mix it up.

I liked it! Very cool and a little disturbing! You're pretty talented (and Radium) with those flash frames and shaking effects! Looks great!

I'll give credit where it's due ... the FX were all Radium. They had a great concept and for me to shoot to it the fame had to be pretty clean and chromatic. But I also had to give them the basic shadows and light characteristics for them to work with.

I think because there was no client other than other creatives, there was a lot more freedom to play with it as well. A lot of times I while shooting I'd ask them to hold for a second and play around in the scene to capture fun details ... some made it and others didn't. But the dolly to the smiley face guy rocking back and forth I insisted upon ... creepiest thing ever.

oh yeah ... it's always fun when a client calls and asks "Have you seen Se7en. Can we do something like that?" I'll be right over ...
