Avid Xpress Pro vs. FCP for HVX project

Does anyone have an opinion on using Avid Xpress Pro instead of FCP to cut HVX project? I'm producing a documentary and have heard that FCP is unstable when cutting projects with 100+ hours of footage...? Are there any problems using Avid Xpress Pro with P2 source / DVC Pro HD codec?

Where did you here that FCP was unstable with 100+ hours of footage. Must have been an Avid guy that heard from another Avid guy that heard his brother's girl friend talking about using FCP. Every system has its problems. I'm not trying to say that FCP has never crashed on me before. I really like using it and for the $600 or so less than Avid its really good deal.
