Everytime i turn on my avid it says quick time is not found and in the past i didnt have qt but i downloaded 6.5 over the wkend but it still wont see that its there why is that?
Install the latest version of Quicktime (I think v7.1) and upgrade to Pro (it's worth it). Also, on the Avid install disc, there is a menu selection for installing Quicktime codecs.
is the proper way to get the QT codecs into the avid system thru the cd? after you upgrade to 7.1 do you need to change anything within avid to have it recognize the changes?
