Avid to Sorenson to Sonic ReelDVD

Sonic Reel DVD came with my new version of Avid Xpress ProHD, but I've never sucessfully been able to use the program. The problem is, I think, that I'm not able to send audio and video out of Sorsenson seperately, which what Sonic ReelDVD requires. Any suggestions? Thanks.

In the MPEG-2 settings window of Sorenson you can choose Elementary Stream. This will cause Sorenson to output seperate files for audio and video.

Hopefully that will work for you. I haven't used Reel DVD is many years, but it seems like it could take a single file with audio and video, it would just have to demux it first, but I could be mistaken about that.

As you say; set Sorenson to create elemetary MPEG2 streams and not a transport stream.
