Avid to Final Cut Pro...can it be done?

So...after ****ing up hugely, we're looking to transfer our footage to FCP.
Can this be done safely, without harming the quality of footage?
Also, can I keep the bin names and file names, or will I have to rename everything?
I'm desperate because we're coming very close to a deadline.

Yup this works...and the newest version will transcode the media to Avid DNXHD as well.

You'd be best off batch digitizing in FCP though... assuming you are wanting to retain as much image quality as possible.
A CMX3600 EDL works fine as long as the project is edl friendly.
