avid system specs

I am building a system to run Avid Express based on a Socket T (LGA775) motherboard.

Does anyone have any thoughts/experience/opinions on the following...


1. Pentium D 830 VS. Pentium 4 660


2. Quadro FX 1300 VS. 7800GT


Each of these processor/video card options are about the same price and fit my budget, trying to decide what to get...
 
well i realize nobody probably cares based on the responses to this thread, but i went with the P4 660 and the 7800GT instead of the Quadro card that Avid "requires." Once I get it all up and running I'll post some benchmarks.
 
Please do post. I'm in the market, and I have heard that certain tools, like Marque, will not even open unless you have a quadro card.
 
A 64 bits processor is not useful because Avid is a 32 bits software and actually, Avid doesn't have a PC version in 64 bit.
