Avid Screen Grabs?

Easy question...I'm trying to take some stills from my footage and show them on websites, but everytime I do the images aren't as crystal sharp as compared to others I have see in SCREEN GRABS forum. So how does one get those crystal sharp screen grabs in Avid? I'm using Avid 4.5, shot footage 24P (normal).

Make sure you are not on an interlace frame (source or record side). Right click (windows) or CTRL-Shift (Mac) and select Export. From the export menu select Graphics and then the file type of your choice - TIFF, PICT, JPEG, etc. Select RGB as the color space and away you go. You will have an umcompressed frame (of selecting TIFF or PICT). Compress and resize as you see fit for posting.

If you're in a 23.P or 24p project you have no worries. If editing 24 in a 30i project, 2 frames out of a 5 frame sequence will be interlace frames - step through the frames and look at your NTSC monitor - of it flickers or has jaggies, that is an interlace frame.
