Avid PAL support

Would anyone from AVID care to hazard a guess when their product line will support 25 and 25pn flavours of the HVX? We have 5 Xpress Pro HDs, 3 Media Composers, 1 MC Adrenaline HD.... and are beginning to wonder why we pay the same prices for AVID products as our NTSC brothers, yet get much reduced timeline support...anyone brave enough to address that?

i think ur best to ask that question on the avid forums tbh mate, they will probabaly be able to answer that alot quicker and with a higher number of replies.

Thanks Dave, done that.. It was reported to me that at NAB Avid's position is that these timelines will not appear until the EBU endorses 720p as a format..haven't they already done that?

Now it´s official: Avid is working hard on it (http://www.avid.com/exchange/forums/7/86155/ShowThread.aspx#86155 - last 3 posts).
Sadly they couldn´t give any release date, but good to know, that they are on it at all.
