I dont want to get into a Mac vs. PC discussion but i do want to know if anyone uses Avid on a mac. I am going to purchase either a G5 or a G4 powerbook for my editing. i will get FCP exporess if not the full software but I would also like to get avid express. There seems to be alot of AVID jobs so I think it will be good to learn both.
Does Avid run well on a Mac?
are there any significant differences on the mac version vs the pc version?
any other info i should know about that purchase?
