avid no video previewing

Hi guys quick question

I am using AVID xpress 5.2.4 I got a problem

I am in soruce/record editing window

when I put clip onto the sorce window or timeline window no video playback only audio play back... the video freeze on that frame, the blue timeless movies forward and sound plays normal... when I stop playing the frame updates... when I drag the blue line back and forth the video updates

The problem is only when i press the play bottom.....

what did I do, it wasn't like this before last night!

help...

Reboot. Chances are that will fix it.

Also check your graphics drivers and make sure they're the Avid approved version.
 
Also if you have another video player open like windows media player, it will do that. All you have to do is close the video player and it will work again. I couldn't figure it out for awhile, then one day I saw a post in another forum about it. I tried it and it worked. Hopefully this will help so you won't have to reboot everytime.
