Avid NewsCutter XP & the HVX

little to no chatter on this software on any forum, but it appears to support the p2 natively. Anyone out there have any experience with this Avid product ? Good only for ENG work ?

We have the most current version of NC XP and NC Adrenaline at NBC here in Burbank. I'll try it out on Sunday when I'm back at work.

We use Newscutters Adrenalines for ENG work. It had P2 support before XpressPro, but both are up to par now.
Newscutter is something between XpressPro and MediaComposer. There's nothing you can do with a NC XP( with mojo) that you can't do with an XpressPro( with Mojo) and some plugins. It only takes more time. You get 'top'&'tail' buttons, a nice keyframeable blur ( which XPress lacks), and some more.

With an NCA ( NewsCutter Adrenaline) you get professional ins and outs( XLR audio, AES/EBU, SDI embedded)

NC Adrenaline appears very expensive, though. Is NewsCutter worth purchasing w/o the Adrenaline hardware ? Best only for ENG work or creative stuff ?
