You can capture into Avid with the ADVC, but Mojo is not just an I/O device. It's an accelerator. You'll get effects real time out of Avid with a Mojo. That means all of that color correction that you do in post, no render time.
Also, with the ADVC you're still limited to the resolution that Xpress Pro gives you in the software. With Mojo you can capture 1:1 resolution.
The ADVC is a great piece of equipment, but it does not compare to a Mojo.
