on youtube you have a bit here & a bit there... not a complete training.

If you want compete training take a class or buy a book. You asked about tutorials and people have given you several GOOD sources.

But I know where you're going. You want the training we all have to pay for, for free. Sorry, can't help you.

ok thanks anyway.

PerroneFord, if you can't help, then pi$$ off. The guy was asking for COMPLETE tutorials that are available, only cause you paid for them doesn't mean there aren't any free ones out there.

Dr J and H check the below link, its from avid and it has COMPLETE tutorials for avid MC, for FREE. (Technically its for Avid MC Adrenaline HD, but the systems are the same)

http://learn.avid.com/content/tutorials/mca/tutorial.html

Below is a link to there FREE Educational Tutorial Series:

I know what the guy was asking for. And I know what I was willing to offer. And you are absolutely nobody to tell me what to do.

Very nice of you to provide these links. They were a great help to me when I started my Avid training.

I answered because you wrote this: . . . Had I known you were gonna be a dick, I wouldn't have bothered. Good luck trying to get everything for nothing.

I'm actually surprised that the DVXuser board monitors allow such intolerence :(

BTW, for those posting all the respective links THANK YOU so kindly . . I too just moved to Media Composer and am excited to start learning if now that I'm pretty good with other Avid, Final Cut Pro, and still learning Edius and Premier Pro :)

I don't really see anything wrong with PerroneFord posts in this thread. He responded based on the information originally given by Dr J and H in his first post. Dr J and H never mentioned he was looking for a complete training link.

So seriously Dr J and H, if you want complete training (above what the links will provide you, which are for Adrenaline by the way, not the newer systems, which differ on the hardware side of things) take Avid Classes.

I really hope costs isn't an issue for learning Avid here, you just bought a $2500 editing system, right? You should be able to spare $150 - $500 to learn how to use it.

I don't know how long you've been around DVXUser, but I bend over BACKWARDS trying to help people who need help. And I do it happily. But what I REFUSE to do is to feed anyone's sense of entitlement. It absolutely galls me. It's like watching someone work for ours to get a meal, and then asking them for half when you've done nothing.

So if my intolerance bothers you, I am sorry. It's a rarity for me. But that day was just not the day. And that user was just not the person.

By the way, that user has 16 total posts, 6 of them in this thread. Absolutely no contribution to the betterment of this site. Merely, "gimme what I want for free!" and not even the common courtesy to say thanks to the person who gave him what he was looking for.

As an aside, this is a post from his OTHER thread called "Cinematography Degree". More gimme everything for nothing... :

hi,
i'm looking for cinematography training videos that will cover all the material that Universities and Colleges are covering for a degree.
i know about all the videos that train you to use...
