Avid Media Composer Academic

[Jet Nine]

Does the Avid Media Composer Academic version require a dongle?

Does the dongle have something to do with upgrades, or is it needed to simply log in.

Thnx

They did away with dongles. Software authorization now.

$295 for Media Composer plus 4 years of free upgrades is the best deal ever. Do it, dude!

FCP X has scared me away, so Avid seems like a logical move.

Are all Academic versions single license that can only be installed on one computer? Can they be uninstalled and reinstalled on a different computer?

Thnx
