Hi everyone I'm new to this forum and I have a big problem.Could some one please help with this;
I use Avid MC 2.7 (with Mojo configration).I have a hvx200 and bought a fs100 dte recorder to record my media.I'm working on a project filmed in the highest HD format resolution.Well here is the problem.I couldn't manage to import/capture the .mxf files.I read almost all the post on this forum but teh FS-100 harddisk isnt like the P2 card file structure i think.So could someone (please) tell me step by step how to connect and import(so i can start to edit the dvcpro-HD footage) the .MXF files from the fs100 dte recorder? thanks.

ps:and i mean step by step because i really couldnt understand how to do it.

gosh how did i miss that :S

gosh how did i miss that :S

ohh yes thanks alot I actually read about that alot but just didnt "organize" the p2 file structure :S but now ill have to "somehow" copy the files to my harddrive (PC HDD) so I can work on them without the need of the fs100

but thx alot for mentioning that option i forgot to do it and you helped me saving time :).But still now ill have to find a way to copy the files to my pc.(but i suppose i can figure that out from the "stick posts" :) thanks again.

a problem again:P

a problem again:P

hi again and sorry to bugger you all but this will be the last question because i 95% solved the problem.I copied the files from the FS100 into the MXF/1 folder and then i was able to edit and work on them on avid without the need of the fs100 but now when i want to add a transition or a visual effect to my clip it gives a error saying that this is the source code and the effect or transition i want couldnt be added to it.but when i play the clip it seems like it added it.So do i need to create&set a new folder for the effect or rendered files?
thank you :)
