avid help needed please

when i try to open the toolset icon from the top of the layout in avid express dv 3.5, all of the functions come up with 'not found'/ 'the system cannot find the file specified'.

have i installed it wrongly?
or is this an extra i have to buy?


can someone plesae tell me what the problem is, as im very new to avid and dont no.

example: click - toolset, click- basic/color correction ect ----- cannot find file
 
Sounds like the settings file is missing or currupt. Try a new user setting to start, if that doesn't fix it, reinstall software and start with new user settings.
