Avid freezes during capture (can someone help plz)

has anyone had this issue I am using avid 5.2x and when I press the capture record button my Avid freezes can anyone plz help? my system specs are blelow.


Dell workstation 650
3.06 dual
Nvidia quadro 3000
windows xp
service pack 2
ace dv i/o capture card
quicktime 7
Nvidia driver 67.22 for Avid

Just a guess, but your I/O capture card could be conflicting.
Are you trying to use this card, or are you capturing with firewire?

Thanx for the reply dude,but i figured it out. It was a conflict with my Raid drivers.
