I won a copy of the academic version of Avid Express Pro for a short film festival I won best film for a couple months ago. Problem is my computer is so old that I can't use it.
I'd figure there might be someone out there who'd be able to use it and might want it. Here's a link to their webpage if you want to learn more about the features and the system requirements:

If you're a strictly Final Cut/Premiere/Vegas user and want to expand your editorial skills, it's be a good investment just to try out Avid as if you ask professional editors even today, the vast majority of them still prefer using Avid.
You are paying for the original installation CDs which have never been used or registered. I couldn't sell a pirated version anyway because Avid requires you always have a usb dongle attached to the computer when you are using it. The box has been opened but only once or twice when I tried installing it for the first time. Since then it's remained closed.
The kit comes with installation CDs for both PC and Mac. PC version is 5.2.4 which includes HD support. The Mac version is 4.8.1 which doesn't have HD support. Also included is a bunch of other software like Sonic DVDit which costs $199.99 by itself.
Since I have no use for this and need the cash more than anything else, I'm willing to sell it pretty cheap for a new item.
Regular MSRP = $299.99
My price = $149.99 + shipping takes it (P.S. I live in Hawaii so just be aware of that for shipping costs, although the box is small so it shouldn't be that expensive, unless you want something crazy like Next Day)
PM if interested.
